If I am using an external nameserver, what is the CNAME I should use to reach my website at GeekISP?

You can use the hostname ''. Most sites are served off of here. Please note that if you are working with an SSL site, or have a personal IP address, you will have a different configuration.

For email service, you should set your MX record to ''. Do note that your MX record is normally invisible to any potential customers, so there is no branding damage by using a GeekISP hostname as your MX record.

Please do not set an external DNS entry to the IP address of our servers - we make no guarentee that the IPs will stay the same over time. Instead create a CNAME record for
