How do I use SPF or DomainKeys?

SPF and DomainKeys are two complimentary systems of proving to people you email that you are the legitimate sender of an email. Email is often subject to forgery, and use of SPF and DomainKeys helps others to discard mails that claim to be from you, but are actually forged.

SPF and DomainKeys work best when all email comes from a single, controlled set of servers. If you send all mail through GeekISP's servers, then you're an excellent candidate for SPF / DK.

To enable SPF or DK for domains with DNS services provided by GeekISP, simply send an email to support requesting these services be enabled.

For domains with external DNS servers, setup is a little more complex. You must be able to add TXT records on your remote DNS service.

For SPF, the reference policy is:

For DomainKeys, contact support to obtain your RSA public key.
