    TMDA-ofmipd Setup Instructions

TMDA-ofmipd, while a mouthful to pronounce, allows you to elminate some of the steps involved with using TMDA. Specifically, it allows you to send an email to a friend and they will not have to confirm their message even if they are not on your whitelist! The result is that any mail recipient is automatically placed on your whitelist, removing the entire verification phase from the conversation. Your mail goes to them, and they respond, just like a regular email... except there's no spam creeping in.

TMDA-ofmipd works with all mail clients, and requires only two small changes. Your outgoing mail server (SMTP server) must be set to:

    • Use port 8025
    • Use SSL

For client-specific details on setting your outgoing SMTP port and for enabling SSL, please refer to the mail setup page. If you have any questions, concerns, or problems with your configuration, we at support would be happy to help!
